Faces of Our World Goes to Greek School

St. Paul’s Greek School is a Greek language based after-school program in Hempstead, NY. It teaches approximately one hundred and fifty students, four days a week after school and on Saturdays. In the coming weeks, students will be participating in Faces of Our World activities. After learning about The Home Project children and the refugee crisis, they will draw their self-portraits and write letters to The Home Project children.

Mary Vlogianitis, the principal of St. Paul’s Greek School, feels that the children will feel a connection with The Home Project children living in Athens, as many of them have shared the experience of living between the US and Greece. Many children have also heard about the refugee camps in Greece during their visits to Greece.
