Faces of Our World Exhibition at Pine Crest School

At the beginning of September, with the help of Ms. Smith, I curated an exhibition of the self-portraits of the third grade students. After learning about refugees from The HOME Project and seeing their self-portraits, the students drew and painted their own self-portraits and answered questions about themselves. The exhibition demonstrated how much all children—from all over the world and with very different life experiences—have in common.
