Vermont Afghan Alliance

Last week, I met with former Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray, the Interim Executive Director of the Vermont Afghan Alliance, to discuss different models for community support for refugee resettlement. I became a research assistant for the Vermont Afghan Alliance, and I am working to create a “resource hub” where refugees, who are resettling in Vermont, can find assistance for various needs. This new online tool will consolidate resources to make it easy to find support in different areas, like legal assistance, housing, and local job opportunities.
