Creating an Exhibit of Love and Respect

It was an honour presenting this project to the Key Stage 2 students of St. Catherine’s. The project consisted of a PowerPoint informing our young children about the problem of refugees in, not only Greece, but the world, and an activity which was for the children to draw self-portraits of themselves like the refugees did.

This exhibition that I put up in the Lower School building of St. Catherine’s focuses on bringing the children of our school and the refugee children together. It is a symbolism of unity between our two different worlds, but since both the refugee and St. Catherine’s students’ portraits are put together randomly, it shows that even though we live different lives we can still appreciate one another and treat each other with respect and love.
